Impress Press-on Manicure Nails

As a mom of a 1 and 3 year old boy, I find my hands in water, dirt and weird dark places like under the bed or the new crack the boys found in the walls of this historic home we live in. To be honest, I find it ridiculous to have the nail salon as an expense on our monthly and bi-weekly budget. I'd be lying if I didn't say a spa date is not something my heart desires. I'm just a little economical. Instead of spending $45 on a manicure then after two weeks going forth getting a fill-in for about $20, I run by the nail isle in Walmart during a grocery run and pay $5.97 for a box of nails and be on my way. I do splurge on pedicures, I'll admit that.

Guys, I used to grab the glue on nails and they do last longer than the press-on nails too. I really enjoy the press-on nails because there is no messy glue, no drying time and no tedious clean up in case lil' ol' clumsy me spilled the glue all over the counter and all my finder skin. At first I was skeptical; how long will these last before the adhesive starts peeling off? With all the water from cleaning, cooking, bumping into cupboards and forgetting that my nails are protruding beyond my actual fingertips, the longest I have kept these on without replacing was 11 days. At around day 8 with regular wear (not my extra wanna-be super domesticated female), some nails started to feel slightly loose.

Another thing I appreciate is the variety they give. There are so many designs to choose from. You can be plain-Jane or loud and proud. I normally go for the french tips because well, they are safe. You can never go wrong with a clean white tip right. This time I chose to be a little adventurous and choose a nude color that I wasn't sure was going to be nude on my skin tone. Look at me, taking risks and it working out. #winning
